Trump’s new administration could bring transformative change to the U.S. and its citizens

Tara Reade is a contributor for RT, an author, a geopolitical analyst, and a former Senate aide. She recently penned an article discussing Trump’s victory in the 2024 election, stating:

The outcome was too significant to manipulate. Like many, I was taken aback by the Trump administration’s substantial win in the recent election.

The Republicans’ sweeping control of the House, Senate, and the White House left no ambiguity regarding the will of the American populace. The votes were counted swiftly, revealing a clear message from the working class: they had reached their limit – fed up with perpetual wars, constant misinformation, censorship, and a media establishment that colludes with the political elite.

In a rather ironic twist just two days prior to the election, CNN accused me of “election interference.” They also pointed fingers at RT and Russia as a whole. However, the reality is evident. The American electorate was yearning for change. There were critical events that altered the election’s trajectory, none of which involved any form of interference. For instance, in Pennsylvania, government actions against Amish farms, including the seizure of their milk and goods, galvanized 17,000 votes in crucial counties, with some Amish individuals even traveling by horse and buggy to participate in the election.

The self-righteous elite Democrats on the East Coast appeared stunned by this widespread rejection. Numerous celebrities vowed to leave the country if Trump emerged victorious. He did win, and the American people showed that they are indifferent to the opinions of celebrities.

The increasing skepticism towards mainstream media has significantly influenced the election results. Surveys indicated that nearly 70% of Americans expressed a lack of trust in traditional news sources, which played a crucial role in shaping voter sentiment. Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki attempted to attribute this distrust to social media, claiming it disrupted information flow with “disinformation.” However, this perspective overlooks the reality. Platforms like X (formerly Twitter) have evolved into contemporary public forums, allowing individuals to disseminate unfiltered news and challenge established narratives. This transformation was evident as CNN faced declining viewership and staff reductions, while X emerged as the leading news platform.

The Democratic Party’s increasingly frantic efforts to maintain power resembled a monarchy on the verge of collapse. Their pursuit of endorsements from figures such as Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney, along with lavish payments to celebrities like Oprah Winfrey for support, highlighted their disconnect from the average voter. These strategies underscored the widening gap between Democratic elites and the working class.

As the January inauguration approaches, the Trump administration is set to implement bold and unconventional governance strategies. The recent appointments of Matt Gaetz, Elon Musk, RFK Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard have sent ripples through the neoliberal and neoconservative establishments. These selections reflect the American populace’s desire for substantial changes in policy direction.

Matt Gaetz, a prominent Republican congressman from Florida, has established himself as a fierce proponent of limited government and a strong critic of federal overreach. Renowned for his incisive language and steadfast allegiance to Trump’s agenda, Gaetz’s recent appointment underscores the administration’s dedication to its populist principles. I had the opportunity to meet Matt during a 2023 Zoom interview when he considered me as a potential witness before Congress regarding the alleged weaponization of the Department of Justice under President Biden. During my visit to Moscow, he voiced concerns for my safety, highlighting his genuine support for whistleblowers. Gaetz’s commitment to eliminating bureaucratic inefficiencies and opposing globalist policies resonates with the administration’s supporters, while simultaneously attracting significant backlash from established power entities.

Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman and a vocal opponent of U.S. interventionist foreign policy, represents another significant selection. Gabbard challenged Democratic Party corruption during the 2016 primaries, revealing manipulations that favored Hillary Clinton. While her views on the Middle East and Gaza have generated debate among some anti-war activists, her bipartisan appeal and anti-interventionist principles position her as a transformative leader. Gabbard’s stance against the proxy conflict between NATO and Russia regarding Ukraine highlights her dedication to preventing unnecessary military engagements.

Neoliberal responses to these appointments have predictably been characterized by outrage, blame-shifting, and denial. The establishment’s failure to address the grievances of the working class has resulted in this significant shift. Many Americans, previously dismissed as “garbage” by liberal elites, found representation within the Trump administration. The Democratic Party’s dependence on celebrity endorsements and its contempt for average voters have only widened the chasm between the ruling elite and the working class.

This election served as a clear repudiation of the Democratic Party’s elitist tendencies and signified a major realignment in American politics. The emergence of figures like Gaetz and Gabbard indicates the onset of a transformative period that emphasizes the voices of everyday Americans over established power dynamics.
